Importing Bookings
Bring your existing booking history into hejGuide by uploading an export from Airbnb, Booking.com, or your own spreadsheet. This is useful when you're moving over from another system and want your past and upcoming reservations to show up on the calendar.
How to Import
You start an import from a specific property, so hejGuide already knows which accommodation the bookings belong to — there's no listing to pick.
- Open the property and go to its Booking sources (calendar sync) tab
- In the Import booking history card, click Import bookings
- Confirm the property shown at the top of the page is the right one
- Drag in your export — a CSV or Excel file from Airbnb, Booking.com, or your own sheet — or click to choose a file
- We read the file and queue the bookings for review
You don't need to format the file or map columns yourself: hejGuide reads the common export layouts automatically.
Getting your Airbnb export
On a computer, open your Airbnb hosting account and go to Today → Earnings → Paid → Get report (direct link: airbnb.com/earnings/paid). Download the CSV — it has one row per reservation, including the start date and number of nights. A reservations CSV works too.
What Happens Next
- We check the file over and email you once the bookings are live on the property's Calendar
- Imported bookings behave like any other booking — you can add charges, record payments, and message the guest
- The booking source is marked as Import so they're easy to spot
TIP
Test with a small export first if you're unsure about the format. You can always import another file afterwards.
WARNING
Imported bookings are added to the calendar. Make sure the dates don't overlap with existing bookings or blocks to avoid conflicts.
