Listings
The Listings module is where you manage all your vacation rental properties. Each listing represents a single property -- whether it is an apartment, house, villa, or room -- and acts as the foundation for everything else in hejGuide. Bookings, rates, housekeeping tasks, and guest communication all connect back to your listings.
What a listing contains
Each listing in hejGuide is organized into several sections:
- Basic details -- Name, property type, description, timezone, and capacity (bedrooms, bathrooms, max guests, floor area).
- Photos -- A gallery of images showcasing your property, with drag-to-reorder and cover photo selection.
- Address & Location -- The property address, with a Google Maps link and latitude/longitude for accurate placement.
- Amenities -- A checklist of features your property offers, from WiFi and parking to pools and hot tubs.
- Check-in Instructions -- Directions, access codes, and arrival information sent to guests before they arrive.
- House Rules -- Your property rules that guests must follow during their stay.
- Pricing -- Nightly rate, min/max stay, booking window, cancellation policy, and direct-booking payment terms.
- Payment Settings -- The per-listing online-payment toggle and its connected provider.
- Booking Sources & Calendar Sync -- Connect this listing's channels and iCal feeds, and export its calendar.
- Compliance & Regulations -- Registration numbers, night limits, and tourist tax tracking to help you meet local regulations.
- Optimize -- An AI listing-quality score with suggestions to improve your listing.
How listings connect to other modules
Your listings serve as the backbone for several other features:

| Bookings | Every booking is tied to a specific listing. |
| Housekeeping | Cleaning tasks are generated based on bookings for each listing. |
| Guidebooks | Digital guidebooks can be linked to specific listings. |
| Channel Manager | Listings can be synced to external platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com. |
Managing your listings
To view all your listings, click Listings in the sidebar. You will see a list of all your properties with key information at a glance. Click on any listing to view or edit its details.
To create a new listing, click the Add Listing button. See Creating a Listing for a detailed walkthrough.
TIP
Keep your listings up to date. Accurate descriptions, current photos, and correct amenity lists help set the right expectations for guests and reduce the chance of complaints or negative reviews.
