Address & Location

Setting an accurate address and map location for your listing ensures guests can find your property easily. This information is displayed in booking confirmations, check-in instructions, and guidebooks.

Setting the address

  1. Go to Listings and click on the listing you want to edit.
  2. Open the General tab and scroll to the Address card.
  3. Fill in the following fields:
    • Street address -- The street name and number.
    • Postal code -- The ZIP or postal code.
    • City -- The city or town where the property is located.
    • Country -- Select the country from the dropdown.
    • State / Region -- The state, province, or region (if applicable).
  4. Click Save to update the address.

TIP

Enter the full, precise address as it would appear on a postal envelope. This makes it easier for guests using GPS navigation to find your property.

Map location

The same Address card has fields for placing your property on a map. There is no interactive map widget -- you provide the location two ways.

Paste a Google Maps link for your property into the Google Maps link field. When you save, the coordinates are pulled from the link automatically, so this is the easiest way to get an accurate position.

To get the link: find your property on Google Maps, click Share, and copy the link.

Entering coordinates manually

If you know the exact coordinates of your property, you can type them straight into the Latitude and Longitude fields (e.g., latitude 41.3851, longitude 2.1734), then click Save.

TIP

You can find your property's exact coordinates by searching for it on Google Maps, right-clicking on the location, and selecting the coordinates from the context menu.

How the address is used

Your property address appears in several places:

  • Booking confirmations -- Guests receive the address when their booking is confirmed.
  • Check-in instructions -- The address is included in pre-arrival communications.
  • Guidebooks -- If you create a digital guidebook, the property location is shown on the guidebook map.
  • Housekeeping -- Team members can see the property location when assigned cleaning tasks.

WARNING

Make sure your address is correct before you start accepting bookings. An incorrect address can lead to confused guests and a poor first impression.
