Setting or Changing Your Password
hejGuide signs you in passwordless by default — you enter your email and we send a 6-digit login code — or with single sign-on (Google / Apple). A password is optional: you only have one if you've set one.
Set or change your password
- Go to Profile → Security (
/profile/security). - Find the password section:
- If your account has no password yet, it shows Set a password — enter a new password and confirm it.
- If you already have a password, it shows Change password — enter your new password and confirm it.
- Click Save.
Once a password is set, the section switches from "Set a password" to "Change password" the next time you open it.
TIP
Use a strong password and consider a password manager. You don't strictly need a password at all — the emailed login code and SSO both work without one — but setting one gives you a second way to sign in.
Signing in
On the login page, enter your email and we'll email you a sign-in code, or use Continue with Google / Apple. If you've set a password, you can also choose Log in with a password instead.
